The Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy has launched a programme offering interest-free student loans. Invest in your development - European education loans are part of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus and delivered by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

Loan terms and conditions:
- The maximum loan amount is PLN 75,000
- A borrower may take out one or more education loans, provided that the total amount does not exceed the above limit
- Up to 50% of the loan may be written off
- The repayment period may not exceed 36 months
- The interest rate is 0% throughout the repayment period
- No fees or commissions are charged for granting or servicing the loan
- A grace period of up to 6 months is available
The education loan programme is available to:

Adults residing in Poland
(including foreign nationals)

Individuals interested in developing
their skills and competences

Individuals in employment
(regardless of the form of employment),
the self-employed, and those not in employment
(e.g. unemployed individuals or those on parental leave),
regardless of their status in the labour market

Individuals with the capacity to repay the loan
The loan may be used for:
- All forms of education, skills development and the acquisition of qualifications (excluding first-, second- and third-cycle degree programmes, as well as integrated Master’s programmes).
- Funding postgraduate study, MBA programmes, and vocational, language and IT courses and training, as well as hobby and general interest courses.
Conditions relating to the form of study:
- The chosen form of study must not exceed 36 months.
- The loan may be used for a programme starting no later than the end of the third calendar month following the month of application, or for a programme that has already started, provided it has not yet been paid for (or for any unpaid part, e.g. the next semester).
What is not covered?
Loan funds do not cover:
- Additional fees (e.g. registration fees)
- Travel and accommodation costs
- Learning materials
