From 4-8 November 2024, the International Week, an event organised as part of the Erasmus+ programme, took place at Alanya University in Turkey. This international event was attended by 48 participants representing 27 universities from 20 countries, both European and non-European. It was an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish inter-university contacts and promote international cooperation in education and research.
The University of Social Sciences was represented during the event by two experts: Edyta Łyszkowska, PhD, a specialist in marketing and management, and Sylwia Szymańska, PhD, a specialist in cyber security and law. Their participation enriched the international forum with valuable perspectives from areas that play a key role in the rapidly changing world of modern social and technological sciences.
The organisers ensured a unique experience for participants, offering a range of activities that highlighted both the cultural and educational dimensions of the event. Participants were treated to a traditional Turkish breakfast, which allowed them to immerse themselves in local culture and cuisine. A tour of the city of Alanya in the context of an international cultural project was also organised, which enabled participants to better understand the multicultural history of the region. In addition, guests had the opportunity to visit the ancient city of Side, one of the most important historical sites in the region, offering a unique insight into the rich heritage of ancient Anatolia.
