About International Cooperation and International Projects Office

The main task of the Office for International Cooperation and International Projects at SAN University is to secure external funding for educational activities and scientific research, as well as to encourage academic staff to engage in the development of research projects that may be financed by European Union funds.

Teaching staff at SAN make use of opportunities offered by EU programmes such as Erasmus+ (formerly the Lifelong Learning Programme), Creative Europe (formerly Culture), and others. They actively participate in projects and contribute their subject-matter expertise to the implementation and dissemination of project outcomes. Involvement in international projects provides an opportunity to work in an international environment and to develop new educational products and teaching materials.

It should also be noted that academic staff at SAN are able to propose their own project ideas, while study visits to partner institutions and cooperating universities offer an opportunity not only to share knowledge and experience, but also to become familiar with solutions and good practices used in other countries.

The thematic scope of projects is diverse, as are the target groups addressed by project activities. In recent years, SAN University has acted as both a partner and coordinator in numerous projects aimed at specific professional groups, including teachers, career counsellors, trainers, and managers of educational institutions.

The University also implements projects focused on developing non-vocational competences among adults, such as supporting multilingual families, parents, seniors, and individuals from disadvantaged groups.

We invite you to explore the currently implemented international projects in the Projects section.

The International Cooperation and International Projects Office is responsible for:

  • Acquiring international external funding for the University’s outputs (educational offer and scientific research)
  • Developing new projects
  • Submitting SAN University as a partner in projects coordinated by other institutions
  • Disseminating knowledge about EU funding opportunities among academic staff and promoting their involvement in project activities
  • Administrative and financial management of successfully obtained projects
  • Supervising the substantive implementation of projects
  • Promoting the University on the international stage
