Internationalisation

Internationalisation is a strategic direction of development at SAN University and has been implemented for many years across several key areas.

In the field of scientific research, a key role is played by the implementation of international research and applied projects (including Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+), as well as the creation of international research teams publishing in renowned global journals in the disciplines of computer science and management and quality sciences. The University can also boast cooperation with dozens of academic authorities representing universities from around the world.

Academic exchange and research cooperation among staff members is also active, although during the COVID-19 pandemic mobility largely shifted to remote forms.

In the area of education, the University is developing double degree programmes with prestigious institutions such as Clark University. These programmes are conducted in English and include Master’s studies (MSPC, MSIT, MPA, MBA), as well as Bachelor’s and doctoral programmes (Management and IT). The dual degree programme with Clark University has been accredited by the oldest accreditation agency in the United States – NICHE, which evaluates the quality of education at institutions associated with the Ivy League.

The University has signed over 80 international cooperation agreements and has successfully implemented student and academic exchange programmes for many years within Erasmus+ and bilateral agreements. Students actively participate in internships offered under the Erasmus+ programme.

The area of implementation and cooperation with the socio-economic environment, corresponding to the third mission of academic universities, is carried out through more than 20 international projects implementing innovative solutions in the commercial, public, and third sectors. Among the University’s international business partners involved in implementation, research, and teaching processes are dozens of companies employing SAN graduates.

Current internationalisation plans include obtaining key international accreditations for study programmes and strengthening cooperation with international business partners.
