« back...Visit from Sofia Medical University

From 8 to 11 April University of Social Sciences hosted Dr. Dragomira Nikolova from the Medical University in Sofia.

Her interests are in the sphere of reproductive genetics, genetics of rare and psychiatric disorders, hematological diseases, gene editing technologies, pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics. She has participated in writing of textbooks and practical courses in medical genetics for students in medicine and pharmacy. Dr. Nikolova is also a reviewer of several national and international journals.

Dr. Nikolova conducted a series of lectures for the students of Medicine at SAN and the visit was organized within SAN’s international cooperation in the Erasmus+ program. The visit provided also an opportunity to meet prof. Adam Fronczak, the Dean of SAN’s medical department, where they discussed further cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and the Medical University in Sofia in the area of joint projects, research and publications.
