Academic Careers Office

 

 

The Academic Career Office is a unit dedicated to supporting students and graduates of SAN University in consciously and effectively designing their career paths.

 

As part of its activities, we offer participation in free courses, workshops, training conferences, and job fairs, as well as support in finding internships, placements, and employment, along with professional career counselling. We also support academic entrepreneurship and the development of talents among our students and graduates by creating opportunities for them to be developed and showcased.

 
 
 

Objectives of the Academic Career Office

The key objective and mission of the Academic Career Office is to maximise the employability of students and graduates of SAN University by enhancing their knowledge, competencies, and skills through both formal and non-formal education.

 

This goal is achieved through:

  • Increasing students’ and graduates’ knowledge of the labour market by providing access to thematic publications, advisory consultations, academic conferences, methodological seminars, training sessions, and workshops;
  • Supporting career decision-making processes through individual and group career counselling services;
  • Raising self-awareness of students’ and graduates’ professional competencies and aptitudes through career diagnostics;
  • Promoting equal opportunities in the labour market, with particular support for students and graduates at risk of social or professional exclusion, e.g. due to disability;
  • Strengthening relationships between employers and students/graduates through the organisation of and participation in job fairs;
  • Supporting the development of an attractive professional profile by assisting in the preparation of application documents and recommending relevant training courses to develop both professional and soft skills;
  • Encouraging a proactive attitude by promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship;
  • Supporting the organisation of internships and placements through cooperation with the Office for Cooperation with the Socio-Economic Environment, which acts as a link between the university and employers offering job and internship opportunities;
  • Strengthening cooperation between the university and the local community and employers in order to create more opportunities for employment, internships, and placements for students and graduates.
