Microsoft Office 365 Service for All Students of SAN University

We are pleased to announce the availability of the Microsoft Office 365 service for all students and postgraduate students of SAN University.

This service provides access to a comprehensive suite of online applications, such as Word, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and many more. Students also receive an email account in the domain @student.san.edu.pl with a storage capacity of 50 GB.

 

Our students and postgraduate students can use up to 5 TB of cloud storage on OneDrive. In the near future, we plan to facilitate access to other systems and applications used at SAN University. Login credentials, referred to as the "SANet" identifier, will allow students to log in using a single set of credentials.

One SANet ID, One Password – Access to Multiple Systems

To use the Microsoft Office 365 service, students or postgraduate students must have an active student status at SAN University and an active SANet identifier. Using the SANet identifier to log in at https://office.com implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

The full functionality of the service should be available within a few minutes of the first login. In exceptional cases, configuration may take up to several hours.

Logging into Microsoft Office 365

To access Microsoft Office 365 services, go to the login page: https://office.com

Login credentials:

  • SANet identifier: studentnumber@student.san.edu.pl
    Example for students: 123456@student.san.edu.pl
  • Initial password (for first login): provided in an email sent to the student.

IMPORTANT! After the first login, the system will prompt new users to change their password.

Password Requirements

During your first login, you will need to create your own password according to the following guidelines:

Requirements for the SANet Identifier Password:

  1. Minimum length: 8 characters.
  2. The password must not contain the user account name or any part of the full name longer than two consecutive characters.
  3. The password must not include your first name, last name, or username.
  4. The password cannot be identical to the previous one.
  5. Required characters in the password:
    • Lowercase letters
    • Uppercase letters
    • Numbers
    • Optionally, special characters

Verification of SANet Account - Password Reset

To complete and verify the data required for self-service password reset for the SANet account, i.e., Office 365, Teams, Online Library, you need to log in and update the password recovery methods at intranet.san.edu.pl

The self-service password reset will be available at intranet.san.edu.pl and on the single sign-on login page.

Installing the Office Package on a Computer

The Office package for installation on a computer is available for download from the Microsoft Office website: https://office.com after logging in with your student account @student.san.edu.pl.

 

After installing the package on your computer, you must log in to the program using your student account. The service remains valid until the completion of your studies.
