About the Library

General Information

The library collections of SAN University have been available since 1997. The collection consists of 77,914 volumes. The library gathers books, films, and CDs primarily related to the fields of study and subjects offered by the university. Readers have open access to the book collection, and the library's resources are regularly enriched with the latest publications and source materials. The library collaborates with 35 universities in the exchange of publications. The Libra 2000 system is used for managing library processes, catalogs, indexes, and the lending system.

 

The SAN University Library includes a reading room with designated computer workstations. On-site, users can access current and archived journals, annual publications, as well as the reference and general book collections. The Main Library operates 7 branch libraries at off-campus faculties in Brodnica, Garwolin, Ostrów Wielkopolski, Warsaw, Kołobrzeg, Zduńska Wola, and Szczecinek, along with 11 additional off-campus educational centers.

 

The library provides access to electronic databases, including:

  • Journal of International Business Studies

Moreover, SAN University Library allows users to access the Academica digital interlibrary loan system, managed by the National Library of Poland.
