On 17 April 2025, the Final Conference of the international BeAusome project ‘PROMOTING TEACHERS' PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INCLUSION THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TEACHING OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM’ was held in Lodz, Poland, at the University's headquarters at 2 Genała Michała Tokarzewskiego Street.
The conference was attended by more than 40 psychology students of the SAN University, as well as numerous psychologists and educators. Participants at the event had the opportunity to explore a VR application to support the development of social skills for children with autism, learn about the DUAL VR platform and online educational resources, and participate in a debate on the use of new technologies in the education of children with special needs.
The conference also featured the BeAusome TOOLKIT guide, which supports teachers in creating a more inclusive learning environment using digital tools.
The event created a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices between students, professionals and education practitioners.
