The Department of International Relations and Projects announces the recruitment for the Blended Intensive Programme Lead Smart – mastering critical thinking organised within the Erasmus+ programme by Newton University in Brno, Czechia.
From 10-17 May 2025, the Warsaw campus of the University of Social Sciences will become a space for inspiration, knowledge and entrepreneurial action. All thanks to the 2025 Entrepreneurship Week - an event that brings together students, graduates, young entrepreneurs and everyone interested in personal development and innovation.
Our Management students Julia and Michal took part in the Eramus+ BIP course Elevate Your Skills in Stakeholder Communication course from 31.03.2025-04.04.2025, organised by the School of Management in Bratislava.
From 23 to 25 April, Gražina Šniepienė from Klaipedos Valstybine Kolegija in Lithuania visited the University of Social Sciences. During her stay, she gave lectures and practical classes to cosmetology students on topics such as the prevalence of acne, awareness and perception of acne among young people.
From 12 to 15 May, our university will be hosting Natalia Constantinescu, PhD from Titu Maiorescu University in Romania, who will give a lecture as part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme, on ‘Attachment Theory in the Organizational Environment: Foundations, Applicability, and Research Directions’, to which SAN psychology students are all invited.

On 26 and 27 March 2025, study visits were organised by the University of Social Sciences as part of the international project GREENSKILLS4DEAF: Promoting inclusion, digital innovation and green transition in VET through the acquisition of green entrepreneurial skills of DHH students for better skills match with the labour market. The visits were attended by students from the Marketing and Tourism Study Circle and the Management a Human Face Study Circle with, who had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of different institutions and companies and gain valuable experience of the labour market and green technologies.

The Department of International Relations and Projects announces recruitment for the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Contemporary Challenges of Management in Business Environment organised within the Erasmus+ programme by Klaipedos Valstybine Kolegija in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
What does it mean to help wisely? Is school volunteering just about collections and charity events? These and many other questions were attempted to be answered by the participants of the unusual conference ‘Pomagajka: about helping wisely’, organised by the University of Social Sciences and the Brest Station Children's Community. The event, which took place on 28 January at the Polish Parliament, was held under the honorary patronage of the Speaker of the Sejm and the Governor of the Mazovian Region.

The Vice-Dean for Law and Administration at the SAN University in Łódź has once again been appointed by the Minister of Science to lead disciplinary proceedings against academic teachers for disciplinary offenses that violate academic responsibilities or the dignity of the teaching profession.
The appointment of Prof. Agata Kołodziejska is a recognition of her academic achievements and her significant contribution to the development of science and the academic community.

On November 20, third-year students of Tourism and Recreation from the SAN University in Warsaw participated in field classes at the Museum of Warsaw’s Praga District. The trip was organized by Dr. Kinga Podleśna, who ensured that the classes took the form of a professional museum lesson conducted by an experienced guide.
On December 2nd, SAN University hosted a conference dedicated to the role of non-governmental organizations in promoting Polish-Chinese cultural cooperation.
During this event, we had the great honor of welcoming the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Sun Linjiang, along with a delegation from the Chinese Association for International Understanding.

We have a great news for those of you who are studying Psychology. The University of Rijeka in Croatia has appeared on our list of partner universities and it is possible to study this field there!
University employees also have a chance to give lectures in Rijeka or take part in intensive trainings, giving the opportunity to improve their qualifications by participating in, among others, in workshops and work shadowing visits.
On March 27-29, 2023, our lecturer Dr. Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz visited the partner university in the Czech Republic - Vysoka Skola Logistiky in Prerov. Our lecturer conducted interesting classes for students of the VSLG University in the field of transport and forwarding in international trade, with particular emphasis on Polish-Czech relations.
On 24 March, Univeristy of Social Sciences in Warsaw hosted the final conference "Raising the quality of distance/digital teaching, learning and assessing of formal schools in the COVID-19 Era: a Complete Tool Kit", organized as part of the project Di2Learn: Distance- digital teaching and learning in the post-COVID-19 era.
After a long break, the outgoing development programmes for students and PhD students from Santander Universidades are back. This time, you can apply for trips to the UK and Spain. The bank is also continuing to run the programmes in an online format.
Recently, as part of an Erasmus+ academic exchange, we hosted at the University of Social Sciences in Warsaw Ms Vessela Statkova - Professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. Ms Statkova runs the Sceography and Multimedia studio at her university. Her work focuses on the media of scenography, video art and virtual reality.
The publication "Wileńska prasa konspiracyjna 1939-1945" (Vilnius Conspiratorial Press 1939-1945), authored by our lecturer Dr Jacek A. Żurawski and edited by Tadeusz Skoczek, was published by the Museum of Independence in the series of publications of the Library of the Quarterly "Independence and Memory".
For the 28th time, the song Gaudeamus igitur resounded at the Inauguration of the Academic Year of the University of Social Sciences. On 3 October 2022, the authorities of the University, in the presence of numerous guests and a multitude of students, solemnly inaugurated the next academic year for more than 16,000 students.
In connection with the improvement of the epidemic situation, the Rector of the University of Social Sciences decides to change the form of conducting classes for full-time and part-time students, which from 25.04.2022 will be conducted in a hybrid mode.
From 21 March 2022 you will be able to extend the validity of your student card. The condition for the extension is a completed semester (please verify in the Virtual University) and settled payments. You do not need to make an appointment to renew your ID card at the Dean's Offices.
Due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases among students and employees of the University, the Rector of the Social Academy of Sciences decides to cancel all classes held in contact at the University on 20-21.11.2021 (applies to those who have classes in B group). These classes will be made up at a later date, which will be announced in a separate announcement.
