University employees also have a chance to give lectures in Rijeka or take part in intensive trainings, giving the opportunity to improve their qualifications by participating in, among others, in workshops and work shadowing visits.
On March 27-29, 2023, our lecturer Dr. Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz visited the partner university in the Czech Republic - Vysoka Skola Logistiky in Prerov. Our lecturer conducted interesting classes for students of the VSLG University in the field of transport and forwarding in international trade, with particular emphasis on Polish-Czech relations.
On 24 March, Univeristy of Social Sciences in Warsaw hosted the final conference "Raising the quality of distance/digital teaching, learning and assessing of formal schools in the COVID-19 Era: a Complete Tool Kit", organized as part of the project Di2Learn: Distance- digital teaching and learning in the post-COVID-19 era.

Recently, as part of an Erasmus+ academic exchange, we hosted at the University of Social Sciences in Warsaw Ms Vessela Statkova - Professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. Ms Statkova runs the Sceography and Multimedia studio at her university. Her work focuses on the media of scenography, video art and virtual reality.
The publication "Wileńska prasa konspiracyjna 1939-1945" (Vilnius Conspiratorial Press 1939-1945), authored by our lecturer Dr Jacek A. Żurawski and edited by Tadeusz Skoczek, was published by the Museum of Independence in the series of publications of the Library of the Quarterly "Independence and Memory".
For the 28th time, the song Gaudeamus igitur resounded at the Inauguration of the Academic Year of the University of Social Sciences. On 3 October 2022, the authorities of the University, in the presence of numerous guests and a multitude of students, solemnly inaugurated the next academic year for more than 16,000 students.
In connection with the improvement of the epidemic situation, the Rector of the University of Social Sciences decides to change the form of conducting classes for full-time and part-time students, which from 25.04.2022 will be conducted in a hybrid mode.
From 21 March 2022 you will be able to extend the validity of your student card. The condition for the extension is a completed semester (please verify in the Virtual University) and settled payments. You do not need to make an appointment to renew your ID card at the Dean's Offices.
Due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases among students and employees of the University, the Rector of the Social Academy of Sciences decides to cancel all classes held in contact at the University on 20-21.11.2021 (applies to those who have classes in B group). These classes will be made up at a later date, which will be announced in a separate announcement.
