« back...SAN University study visits in the framework of the GREENSKILLS4DEAF project
On 26 and 27 March 2025, study visits were organised by the University of Social Sciences as part of the international project GREENSKILLS4DEAF: Promoting inclusion, digital innovation and green transition in VET through the acquisition of green entrepreneurial skills of DHH students for better skills match with the labour market. The visits were attended by students from the Marketing and Tourism Study Circle and the Management a Human Face Study Circle with, who had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of different institutions and companies and gain valuable experience of the labour market and green technologies.

On 26 March, the participants visited the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek, where they learned not only about the Marshal's history and heritage, but also about modern approaches to managing cultural institutions and historical education. On the same day, the students also had the opportunity to visit WP Holding, where they learned about management practices concerning people with disabilities.
On 27 March, there was a visit to the headquarters of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), during which the participants gained knowledge about the functioning of the social insurance system in Poland and its impact on the labour market.
The goal of the visits was to establish cooperation between the project's key target groups and to identify the competences and skills required for work in different sectors. During the visits, open consultations were organised with representatives of the companies, VET trainers and DHH students to exchange experiences and adapt educational programmes to real market needs.
Each visit also included recording a video footage that presented the working environment, job requirements and competences expected by employers. This enabled the students to gain a better understanding of professional realities and to draw inspiration for further development.
The visits culminated in the signing of the Memorandum of Collaboration, in which institutions and companies committed to continue supporting the project. This document formalises the collaboration and paves the way for the Living Hub programme, allowing DHH students to gain valuable work experience through internships and mentoring.
