« back...A career without limits. What does the international business world expect from SAN graduates?

NOVEMBER 2023 | Warsaw

To succeed in international administration or global business, theoretical knowledge of the world alone is no longer enough. Employers are looking for specific skills. That is why the International Relations program at the Social Academy of Sciences is continuously reviewed by industry professionals who serve on our Business Council.

During the last meeting at the SAN’s Warsaw branch, experts from the socio-economic sphere analyzed our syllabi. Their conclusion was clear: the university must maximize students’ practical competencies, even at the expense of general academic knowledge.

In line with business recommendations, our educational program places particular emphasis on:

  • Effective international negotiations in diplomacy and various sectors of the economy.
  • Understanding cultural diversity and international business etiquette.
  • Competencies related to promoting Poland abroad and attracting foreign investment.
  • Issues of broadly defined security in international relations.
  • The ability to adapt best international practices to the specific characteristics of the Polish market.

The advantage of a private university

During the meeting, Prof. Gen. Bogusław Pack’s remarks resonated strongly, as he aptly defined the role of our institution. Private universities enjoy tremendous flexibility. They adapt to changing economic conditions faster and more efficiently than public universities. At SAN, we treat this flexibility as our primary tool. Thanks to this, we provide students with exactly what the demands of the times and modern business require of them.
