Entrepreneurship plays a key role in conscious career development, providing financial independence, the opportunity to pursue passions and personal development. By engaging in entrepreneurial activities, young people develop competences such as creativity, management, risk-taking and problem-solving - key skills not only in business, but also in everyday life. 

 

We would like to invite you to participate in the next edition of the student scientific conference “Young Business Leaders”, which this year's theme is Entrepreneurship in Management Sciences. The event is aimed at students, young scientists, business practitioners and all those interested in the topics of management and entrepreneurship development. 

 

The conference aims to explore the importance of entrepreneurship in management science and present the latest research, innovative approaches and practical solutions in the field. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to listen to inspiring lectures, take part in workshops and panel discussions and make valuable contacts in the academic and business communities.

Deadline: 15 May 2025

Venue: Warsaw, 11 Łucka St.

Duration: 10:30-15:00

Language of presentation: Polish/English

Cost: Free participation

Registration is open until  27 April 2025 r. via the online form. A detailed programme will be sent to participants once registration is complete.

Damian Ozga is an investor, entrepreneur and mentor. He has founded several multi-million dollar businesses, including nationwide franchise chains. Damian is passionate about the process of creating businesses and exemplifies that any well-managed company can be sold for a profit.

PhD Wojciech Pizło, Professor at SGGW

 

Associate Professor at the Institute of Management, Warsaw University of Life Sciences His main interests include agribusiness, management in the age of IT revolution, and in particular marketing theory, institutional economics, leadership and creativity. Professor Pizło is the author of, among others, the monographs ‘Enterprise in the Information Society in the Light of Institutional Economics Theory’ (2009), "Marketing. Economic knowledge and market activity' (2017), “International marketing - a European point of view” (2019), as well as author and co-author of a paper on virtual organisations in international research teams: Pizło W., The Role of Trust and Cooperation in Virtual Teams in: Trust and Digital Business: Theory and Practice. Paliszkiewicz J., Chen Kuanchin, Launer Markus (eds.), 2023, Routledge, p.47-64.

Author of more than 140 articles and chapters in monographs, scientific and thematic editor in scientific journals.
