« back...An intensive week in Lisbon: SAN students on an international BIP course with Erasmus+
From 7 July to 11 July 2025, more students from SAN University in Łódź had the opportunity to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme, organized under the Erasmus+ programme by our partner university, Universidade Europeia in Lisbon.
It was intense, productive, inspiring, and exciting, and this is how the students, enriched with new experiences, skills, and knowledge, both academic and practical, summarized their mobility:
"We just returned from an unforgettable 5-day BIP program in Lisbon, and we still can't believe how much we managed to experience and learn in such a short time! We were captivated not only by Lisbon itself—full of colors, scents, and sunshine—but also by the entire program, the main goal of which was to collaborate with the Portuguese company Padaria Portuguesa. We visited one of their local bakeries for a delicious breakfast, took a look behind the scenes of factory production, and then – in international teams – analyzed what could be improved to make the company more efficient and how it could incorporate sports into the daily routines of employees. Finally, we presented our ideas to company representatives. It was a thrilling experience, and even more satisfying!
The program also included inspiring lectures by professors from various countries, as well as topics close to our hearts – sports, diversity, and adapting the work environment to the needs of people with disabilities. The program allowed us to look at these issues from a completely different, broader perspective – and left us with a wealth of reflection.
And on a less serious note – we also fulfilled one of our dreams and tried our hand at surfing during a surfing lesson! This trip was an incredibly valuable experience for us – both academically and personally.”
