On January 29 at 2:00 p.m., two lectures on the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare will be held at the Collegium Medicum of the Social Academy of Sciences at 121 Gdańska Street in Łódź.

 

The meeting will focus on the role of AI in modern medicine, knowledge management, and the ethical and competency challenges associated with the dynamic development of new technologies in healthcare systems.

 

The first lecture will be given by Alberto Cavazza, MA, a PhD student in healthcare and sustainable development at the University of Milan-Bicocca and a visiting student at the Department of Management of the SAN University in Łódź. The lecture will focus on the role of artificial intelligence and knowledge management in healthcare as tools supporting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The presentation will show how combining academic and practical perspectives can contribute to building more effective, sustainable, and human-centered healthcare systems.

 

The second lecture will be given by Prof. Francesca Dal Mas, Associate Professor of Strategic Management Accounting at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in Italy and researcher at the Collegium Medicum of the SAN University in Łódź. The presentation will focus on the application of artificial intelligence in medicine and surgery, ethical issues, and the need to adapt clinical competencies to the challenges of modern healthcare, taking into account human-centered factors and the opportunities offered by new technologies.

 

The event is aimed at students, researchers, and anyone interested in the future of medicine and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
