« back...Lecture series „On the way to success in tourism- countries and companies”

The Marketing and Tourism Research Club invites you to the second lecture in a new international series entitled ‘On the road to success in tourism – countries and companies’, devoted to analysing the successes of the tourism industry in different parts of the world.
This time, we will travel to northern Europe to discover Lithuania – a country that combines a rich cultural heritage with a modern approach to creating innovative tourism products.
The lecture will be given by Laurencija Budrytė-Ausiejienė, a tourism specialist and lecturer at Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija (Klaipėda State College), where she is the head of the Tourism Business programme.
Laurencija Budrytė-Ausiejienė

Laurencija Budrytė-Ausiejienė is a tourism specialist and lecturer at Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija, Higher education institution and head of the Tourism Business study program. Her professional interests include cultural and urban tourism, heritage interpretation, and the development of innovative tourism services. She has participated in several Nordplus Adult projects, including NordTourNet-3 (solving intergenerational communication challenges in tourism companies), NordTourNet-4 (enhancing creativity in tourism through AI-powered tools), and Footprints (developing informal education methods for cultural tourism). Together with Gita Šakytė-Statnickė, she has co-authored international publications on intergenerational communication in the tourism sector (Journal of Tourism Studies) and the application of artificial intelligence in tourism (Tourism and Hospitality, MDPI). As a licensed guide and creator of thematic routes, Laurencija contributes to the development of Klaipėda’s tourism products and conducts training on creativity and innovation in the tourism industry.
