« back...Lecture series „On the way to success in tourism- countries and companies”

The Marketing and Tourism Research Club invites you to another meeting in the international series entitled ‘On the way to success in tourism – countries and companies’, devoted to analysing the successes of the tourism industry in various parts of the world.

This time, we will travel to southern Europe – to Italy, one of the most visited countries in the world, famous for its unique cultural heritage, creativity and modern solutions in the field of tourism.

The lectures will be given by Professor Fabio Converti, an expert in cultural heritage, tourism and UNESCO site management, and a researcher at the Department of Political Science at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Caserta. Professor Converti combines a political science perspective with issues of urban planning, the promotion of art and architecture, and the development of cultural and creative tourism. He also collaborates internationally on educational projects, including Jean Monnet.

He is also the scientific director of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli at the World Museum of the Mediterranean Diet in Pioppi (Salerno), and in 2024 he served as scientific director of Italian Culture Week in Lviv. In 2025, he is responsible for the content of Italian Fashion Week, organised by the Embassy and the Cultural Institute in Kyiv.

Lecture dates:

17 November, 11:30 a.m. | room 116

22 November, 5:00 p.m. | room 515
