« back...Lectures, art and culture - Prof. Maria Piątek visiting Ostrava University within the framework of Erasmus+

From 5 May to 7 May 2025, Prof. Maria Piątek, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the Warsaw brach of the University of Social Sciences, conducted a series of lectures and artistic workshops at our partner university, Ostrava University, as part of the Erasmus+ programme.

Both theoretical lectures as well as practical classes enjoyed much popularity among the students who actively participated in them. The professor was also invited to the opening of a student exhibition at the municipal gallery, where all attendants took also part in an artistic performance. Together with Dean Milan Cieslar and lecturer Gabriela Pienias, she visited the buildings of the former Witkowice Steelworks, which is now a cultural centre and a unique historical site.
