Dr Maciej Dębski, prof. SAN
Winner of the CEEMAN Champion Award 2025 in the “Leader of the Year” category
Dr. Maciej Dębski, Prof. SAN, holds a PhD in economics in the field of management sciences. He is currently the Managing Director of the SAN University branch in Warsaw, a Professor at SAN, and Head of the Department of Marketing and Tourism.
He has been with SAN since 2011 – beginning as Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics, then Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Management and Security Sciences, and Rector’s Plenipotentiary for the organisation and marketing of the Warsaw branch.
Besides his managerial duties, he is an active lecturer and researcher. His areas of interest include marketing, higher education management, and tourism marketing. He is the author or co-author of numerous publications and books such as “Creating a Strong Brand”, “Tourist Policy”, “Brand as a Source of Shaping Competitiveness in the Tourism Industry”, and “Tourism Satellite Account as a Framework for Assessing Sustainability”.
His teaching and scientific work has a strong international dimension – he has delivered guest lectures at universities in Varna, Klaipeda, Ventspils, and Žilina, and completed research internships in Amsterdam and Varna.
