« back...Sustainable Development Management in Organisations – invitation to the debate

All academic community of the University of Social Sciences is welcome to participate in the debate ‘Sustainable Development Management in Organisations’ organised by the Marketing and Tourism Scientific Club, supported by the club's supervisor, Maciej Dębski, PhD.

Sustainable development management in an organisation is crucial for its long-term success. First and foremost, it allows for the effective use of resources, which translates into savings and lower operating costs. It strengthens the company's reputation by attracting environmentally conscious customers, which increases competitiveness. In addition, promoting responsible practices can increase employee engagement and acceptance in the community.

The debate will take place on 7 November at 11:30 a.m. at 11 Łucka Street in Warsaw, in lecture hall 6.

Facilitator

Maciej Dębski, PhD, Managing Director of the SAN branch in Warsaw, co-author of the book Tourism Satellite Account as a framework for assessing sustainability, (other co-authors: E. Dziedzic, T. Skalska), and a number of publications on sustainable development.

Participants

Founder and CEO of the training and consulting company Ecogiq and the personal brand Green Officer. She advises and educates on sustainable development, ESG, circular economy, climate change, Zero Waste, CO2, and good eco practices. She assists companies, organisations, and institutions in matters related to green operational and technological solutions.

She has been involved in the TSL industry for over 17 years. An expert in operations, trade and building shipping and transport teams. She graduated in organisation management and business psychology. Owner and founder of CMG company.

Manager and civil servant. Since 2021, director of the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek. In 2017-2020, president of the Polish Tourist Organisation and vice-president of the European Travel Commission. Previously, consul and counsellor at the Polish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and minister's advisor at the Ministry of Finance.
